As someone in Internet Marketing and blogging, your primary challenge is getting a person to stick around and subscribe to your blog. Creating the stickiest blog possible so that a visitor becomes a regular on your site is your top priority. Accomplishing this goal is the best path to success and a larger profit margin. Of course, a large number of bloggers, whether or not they are in business for themselves, fail in this area. A lot of different things factor into your success but what is important is that you keep persisting so that you can reach your goals.
If you're attempting to pick your first theme for business or for other purposes then you can research themes for weeks and weeks or even months if you'd like to spend that much time on it. You need to accept the fact that it is in your best interest to choose a theme that will always have developer support. The WordPress platform is always changing and one day you might upgrade and suddenly develop a problem with your theme. If your theme becomes incompatible after a WordPress upgrade, you need to have a developer that will offer upgraded themes too. But if that is not possible, then you have to revert to the previous WP rev or get a new theme. Very many people have a tough time with an approach that uses review of Social Commissions and making certain decisions, but unfortunately that is a fact of business life. That is part of the reason most new marketers have such a tough time with it.
You will not always know where to begin, what to do or who you can even trust. It does not really matter if you feel overwhelmed, in some situations, because you can employ certain methods to alleviate that emotion. One other critical area is the fear of making mistakes in the beginning, and we will tell you that mistakes are a natural part of doing business. Once you have have survived for a while, then you will see your mistakes dwindling in numbers. Often times all you need to do is take enough action with any new method, or group of them, that you employ in your business.
Perhaps the most common decision that new bloggers have to make is whether they want to pay for a theme or find one for free. For example, a free theme will almost always require a link in the footer back to the source. Also, it is fairly common for free themes to have encrypted code, and you will not know what it does. The code gets put there and only he or she will know why. Paid themes almost always are free of the small annoyances that are included in the free themes. Still, make sure you protect yourself and only buy themes from designers who are credible and have respectable reputations.
If you've already got a good understanding of SEO, then hopefully you will already understand just how valuable internal linking can be for your projects. If you've got enough content for this method to be effective, you can raise your SEO score to a variable degree when you do this properly. Here is another approach you can use with internal linking...an approach you can test on a variety of pages and use to track your results. Within the actual content of your posts, put some in-line links to other pages on your site. These links shouldn't just sit in your footer or in your sidebars; use appropriate anchor-text to link to them from within the body of relevant blog posts. If your intent is to get placed highly by the search engines, then you should be able to accomplish this. But, you will need to do a little research if you want to do the same with your off-page SEO components. The best thing for your site is to get links from different authority sites in your niche. But, for many that is easier said than done. However, you can accomplish this by using the article directories for backlinks and by sharing your articles with others. So, understand that this can be achieved. Just make sure that your links are different and look natural.
