Give Your Site A Boost Using On-Page SEO

Knowing what on-page SEO is and effectively putting it into practice are two different things, so you have to accomplish that to rank well. If you are not familiar with this topic, then we will show you how to optimize your site for on-page SEO. For more information: what is seo

You generally want to have a good idea about how many times you mention your main keyword phrase for each page. Google and Bing look at keyword density in a different way, but for Google you should stick to somewhere around 2.5% percent for any phase. What you need to do is divide the number of times your primary phrase appears by the overall word count. You can have long or short articles, or posts, on your site; so it is your decision in the process. You do not have to treat this like precision science, and just be sure you write for your audience and not the search engine bots. We will always state that producing content for the readers is the most important concern, here. You can get all that done by writing content that is on topic and natural. Keep the size of the pages on your website small; try to limit the size to 100K or less. Remember that not everyone has a faster computer, and you do not want to have a site that is slow to load. It is difficult to make a universal recommendation because some sites are rich in graphics, for example. So as you know by now, faster loading pages will give you more positive search optimization scores. In the event you have large page files, then see if you can optimize them as well as optimize your images.

URL length is a judgment call because some people have longer domains for exact phrase match keywords. Some people specify to limit your domain to less than one hundred characters. If you plan to do search marketing, then of course a little bit of SEO in your domain will not hurt. One thing to always try to avoid is putting numbers in your domain. Most of the time the flow of words should be smooth when you say them. Your readers won't have any trouble copying and pasting your URLs when they're simplified, and at the same time you'd be able to embed your targeted keywords in them, to get ranked.

The thing about on page SEO is there is nothing hard about it, and they are quick to do.
