Sure, it is a little bit harder to break into guest blogging if you are totally new, but you can still do it but just on a smaller scale. You get to create a relationship with the readers of some other blog and turn them into your readers, and at the same time you tend to create a strong relationship with the blogger you're partnering with. With those points in mind, you can gain more knowledge about guest posting/blogging, and then you will be poised a little better to push forward.
Be Active: Once you get your blog post published on the other blog, your work doesn't end there. In order to enjoy the long term benefits of having guest posts published, you have to remain active and willing to interact with readers. You don't want to just have a post published and have it end there -ideally, you want to provoke replies from people who read your content. If someone does respond to your post, keep the conversation going as long as possible by replying in kind. It's fine to get a single post published, but even better if you can use it as a springboard to start a whole conversation. Make sure you get e-mail notifications when someone posts to the topic you started. Also, take out the time to submit your blog post to social bookmarking sites such as Digg, Delicious, StumbleUpon, etc so that you can get more quality readers to your post. The
Value of Analyzing: When you become a guest blogger, try to gain as much from the experience as you can, as it really allows you to pick up lots of new information if you're paying attention. After guest blogging, you should honestly ask yourself -what did readers really think of my post and did it have the effect I was hoping for? Analyze any relevant data concerning your guest posts, which may include things like feed readers you gained, number of blog comments your post generated, new visitors to your own blog and the like. If your guest post didn't work the way you envisioned it, then you may want to look into it and try to analyze what went wrong. The more you try learn from your guest blogging experience, the better you'll be able to fare in the future when you write more guest posts for other blogs.
Plan Your Next Post: Don't think of your guest blogging efforts as isolated posts, but always be thinking ahead to your next post. By gauging the reaction of your readers, you can plan an approach you can use consistently in future posts. So don't hesitate to work on another post if your first one was well received at a particular blog. This is called "riding the wave of success" while you can, so that you can actually leverage your previous article's response better. While it may take a little convincing for a blogger to publish one of your posts, once you've proven that you can provide great content, it won't be hard to get additional ones accepted. Lots of marketing methods are evergreen and App Empire is one of them, but there is a reason some of those methods have worked so well over the years. You never want to find your self in a situation with your business that causes you to have a narrow view of the marketing world.
Perhaps only one thing you just learned could be used in your marketing, and if that is the case then you should embrace it. It is not necessary to do a full-blown campaign if you liked something you read about, here, and that is the beauty of running limited testing. We have talked about the need for information in IM because of the learning curve, and that definitely applies to today's topic. What you need to do is have a solid grasp on any method enough so you can at the very least test it in your business. Have a positive perspective on all you do, and that will contribute to the energy you put toward anything new.
Do not ignore guest blogging if you have never done it because it can become very potent for you if you stick with it.
