Get Going on Linking

When you initially choose to do a bit of link building 'SEO' on your website, the first thoughts of "oo, this is a bit easy" when you're adding a bit of text here and updating the odd meta-tag there soon gives way to worry and loathing when you discover that there's a lot more to it than that.

SEO is an on-going task and there's so much to it that many people get stuck on the preparation without actually doing anything for the marketing of their site. I've always thought that doing something is much more helpful that not doing anything but it can still be hard to work out what to do first, so here are some ideas.

Right, let's presume then that we need to construct some links to get going. Here's what I do when beginning a new site and you can do the same...

Generate email addresses

For each link development customer I prefer a brand new email address, at times two. My tool of choice is Gmail since it doesn't seem to be as bogged down with junk mail problems as much of the other sites. You can find plenty of sites that don't accept submissions from free accounts however Gmail appears to be OK with most.

Create accounts

You should fist open up an account with Ezinearticles.com. This is hands down the right spot to put your quality article content and when you can muster up the skill and courage then a 1,000 word article posted here each day will do miracles for your SEO website enhancement.

Intending to use the blogs

Probably the most difficult portion to the entire process will likely be the way to control publishing to those blogs without sending yourself completely scatty and so I've worked out a plan for you.

Plan which websites to blog to and what to talk about

You can't blog exactly the same thing to every one of your link building service sites - that will be silly and wouldn't assist your rankings much. Even though this definitely isn't 'duplicate content' that everybody talks about, Google seems to give more weight to links in from unique content and article content. No matter though, it's easy enough to perform provided that we plan it correctly.
